Terms and Conditions - UniSilver Time VIP

  1. Program

  1. UniSilver TIME VIP (here on after will be referred to as VIP) is a membership program owned and administered by UniSilver TIME (Chronotron Inc.), where members may enjoy many rewards and benefits including the ability to earn and redeem VIP points, access exclusive partner promotions or offers, and avail other privileges or opportunities in accordance with the rules and provisions set out below.

  2. By opening a VIP membership account or by using or continuing to use your membership card or membership account number to receive and redeem any benefits or services offered by or associated with VIP points, members shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, including all amendments as may be made by UniSilver TIME in its sole discretion from time to time.

  3. By becoming a VIP member, members acknowledge and agree that member profile data, transactional data, behavioral data, responses to polls and surveys, and other activities that are related to the VIP program will be collected and used by UniSilver TIME to provide the VIP program’s benefits and services. The data will be used to better understand the needs and preferences of the members so that the following will have a better chance of being achieved:

a.)  Provide members with promotions in line with their interests.

b.)  Provide members with offers, products, and privileges that relate to their shopping preferences.

c.)  Provide members with offers to take polls and surveys that they would find valuable or be of interest.

  1. By joining the VIP program, members agree to receive communications related to the operation of the VIP program, including information regarding available program-wide and personalized partner promotions and offers, polls and surveys, and other program announcements, updates, and notifications, via contact points provided or availed by the member, which include but are not limited to SMS, social messaging apps, electronic mail, and in-app push notifications.

  2. UniSilver TIME reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time upon posting the amended version at the (www.unisilvertime.com) website(s) and mobile app. The revised Terms and Conditions may have a retroactive effect. It is the responsibility of members to be apprised of these changes in the Terms and Conditions.

  3. VIP points have no monetary value and are not convertible to cash.

  4. UniSilver TIME may choose to rebrand or substitute a similar membership program for the VIP program at any time and at its sole discretion, immediately upon notice to members.

 

  1. Membership

  1. Membership is for individuals only. No corporations, partnerships or other legal entities are eligible to enroll as members.

  2. Each member may only have one VIP account. UniSilver TIME reserves the right to consolidate or merge multiple accounts without prior notice.

  3. The minimum age requirement for membership is 18 years of age. However, enrollees who are under the age of 18 may be allowed to enroll provided that their parent or legal guardian contacts the UniSilver TIME Customer Care before enrollment to provide a copy of their written consent to the enrollment for security and protection purposes. They will not be able to proceed with their enrollment until such consent is given.

  4. A minimal fee will be charged to the member when availing the membership card at participating UniSilver TIME branches which may be linked to a member’s membership account.

  5. UniSilver TIME reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual and all accompanying benefits including the forfeiture of VIP points at any time, at its sole discretion and without compensation, for reasons including but not limited to the following:

a.) The member has committed a material breach of any of the Terms and Conditions.

b.) The member has failed to make payment due to UniSilver TIME.

c.) The member has abused or misused the benefits accorded by the VIP membership.

d.) The member has misrepresented information provided to a VIP member.

e.) The member is alleged to be engaged in a sale or barter of VIP points, rewards or benefits other than as authorized by UniSilver TIME, or

f.) The member is alleged to have performed fraudulent act(s) that are deemed detrimental to the interests of UniSilver TIME and merchants such as but not limited to bank partners, financial products partners, earn and/or redemption partners, commission-based partners, point-conversion partners, and promotion partners ("Partner or Partners").

  1. Members may close or cancel their membership at any time by contacting the UniSilver TIME Customer Care or by requesting deletion of their account via UniSilver TIME VIP  mobile app.

7. To facilitate account deletion via the UniSilver TIME VIP mobile app, the member may go to Settings under the Account tab and click on the Delete Account button. To ensure that the account is not being deleted by mistake or by fraud, the member will be asked to verify his/her registered email address if the same is still unverified. Once verified, the member must agree to the Terms and Conditions by checking the tickbox and clicking the Confirm button. The member will then receive a message prompting him/her to click the “Go to Customer Service” button. This will redirect the member to his/her default email app and will automatically generate an email message setting out the request for account deletion that must be sent to UniSilver TIME VIP. Upon receipt, UniSilver TIME VIP will process the request and the member will be duly notified once account closure and deletion have been completed.

8. A member’s VIP account will be closed and any unused VIP points will be forfeited if he/she will not conduct at least one (1) of the following activities within a period of three (3) consecutive years: 

a.) successful log-in to his/her VIP account through the UniSilver TIME VIP app and/or website 

b.)  successful earning of VIP points 

c.)  successful redemption of VIP points 

d.) successful redemption of a coupon. For the avoidance of doubt, closure of the member’s account shall be implemented on the third anniversary of the member’s first day of inactivity.

9. A member will be duly notified of the closure or deletion of his/her membership account via the email and/or active mobile number he/she registered with VIP.

10. Membership in VIP shall automatically terminate, without need of notice, upon the death of the member and any unused VIP points shall be forfeited. Willing of points to the member's next-of-kin or another member is strictly prohibited.

11. Membership in VIP is not transferable to other individuals under any circumstances.  After closure or termination of the account, any unused VIP points, unredeemed rewards, and benefits shall be immediately forfeited or cancelled, and may not be reinstated or transferred. All member personal data will be deleted after one (1) year from the date of account closure and/or termination.
